This may be really cheesy, but thrifting is a huge treasure hunt for me, and I love following the blogs (and vlogs) of other thrifters. I enjoy seeing what they've found as much as I love telling all everyone about what I've found!

Like a lot of people these days, I spend a lot of time at thrift stores. Actually, I probably spend more time than most people at thrift stores. There are three main Goodwill locations I visit. My visits are always premeditated, and I always check their website to see what's on sale before I go.

Auctions are my second favorite way to shop, but I attend those less often because the good ones tend to be late at night and far away.

Last but definitely not least, I love love love yard sales. I go every weekend, and I go early! If the first yard sale starts at 7:00, I leave at 6:15 and hit up the sales farthest from my home first.

So, right off the bat, I'm going to show you a small purchase I made today at my local Goodwill. The first item (and my favorite item) is this large stainless steel pot with a colander insert for $5.00. I was so excited because I have wanted one of these for a long time, and they range from 59.99 at target to 129.99 on Amazon. I know it's a little dirty, but nothing a little vinegar and baking soda can't fix.
As much as I would love (and I mean love) to keep this pot, I will probably surprise my mother-in-law with it once I get it all cleaned up. She just mentioned that she wanted one in passing recently, and well... she does a lot for me and my family.

Normally, I have a hard time finding clothes that fit me at Goodwill (mostly because I hate shopping for myself anyway), but this Hang Ten shirt is SUPER cute, and I only paid $1.00 for it. I'd never heard of this brand before, but apparently you can buy it at Kohl's in the Juniors department.

Now for my hubby's favorite buy of the day. My husband, Nathan, works in IT so he needs to look professional. Today, we found a dress shirt for $1.50, but not just any dress shirt... an Express dress shirt (my hubby's favorite brand). Ever since we became responsible home owners and parents we have not been able to rationalize the upwards of $50.00 price tag on dress shirts at Express.

But... for $1.50 with the dry cleaning tag still on it, I am one happy thrifter.Bethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02354060055098289563noreply@blogger.com0
